Power Mobility Assessment and Driving Methods

Course Description:

The purpose of this course is to present the power wheelchair assessment process for the pediatric population, including determining optimal equipment parameters. Part of the assessment process is determining the optimal driving method. A wide variety of power wheelchair driving methods will be covered in a hierarchy of use, with clinical indicators for each. Finally, the course will illustrate this information in a case study.
