Course Overview
Balance dysfunction is one of the leading causes of functional limitation and even disability among elderly patients. And when working to improve a patient's balance, the vestibular system is often overlooked; which is regrettable as a large portion of our balance is derived from this system.
This course focuses on adding specific vestibular assessment and training tools to a therapist’s skills to further maximize a patient’s reduced fall risk and overall functional independence.
